This KD 16 is inspired by one of Kevin Durant’s nicknames, Slim Reaper, which I read he apparently is not a fan of. It sports a wine and black multi-layer mesh upper with white Swooshes flanking both sides of the rear foot. The lower third of the upper is black and is delineated from the upper portion by silver (possibly reflective ) piping.
Clear and black support wings occupy the lateral and medial sides respectively; a KD logo finds its home on the tongue with “Slim Reaper” appearing on a metallic button on the rear heel.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides Nike Air cushioning, a bottom loaded Zoom Air bag, black midsole and a translucent rubber outsole.
The debut of the “Slim Reaper” Nike KD 16 is imminent at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 160 USD sticker price.
